The bands packed up and everyone's gone home,
So now we're left here at the bar,
It's nearly one, but we're not done,
So now we're gonna do more shots,
The bar staff mop up around our feet,
Tequila dribbles from our nose,
They wanna go, we're in full flow,
So let's do some more shots,
Yes I know we're getting in the way but we don't wanna leave, we really wanna stay, it can't be time to go, the bottle isn't dry and I've still got sight in one eye,
Hey, another round, who's turn is it to pay, put it on my tab sort it out another day, share a bag of crisps, turn up the stereo, we'll all be fucked tomorrow,
We're not going home til sunrise x2
So now we're talking shit, it's late into the night, just sitting in the dark, drinking by moonlight, the bar staff have all gone, they've left us with the key, let's do a round of whiskey,
Sambuca, rum and coke, a large glass of wine, sing (along) to the songs a little out of time, go out for a smoke, there's blue sky in our eyes, not going home til sunrise,
One more for the road, it's time to say goodnight, we'll do the walk of shame out in the morning light, no one says a word as we go our separate ways, just nod and smile and wave,
We're not going home til sunrise x2
The band packed up and everyone gone home,
We were just sat there in the bar,
Til nearly 8, that night was fucking great,
But now I am old and need sleep,
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024

At first this will probably sound like pretty raw punk music. However, a careful listener will notice that it is not as chaotic as it might first seem, that the melodies and lyrics intertwine quite smartly, that there is much more than meet the ear at first hear. Those who will continue will discover a very good balance between raw ebnergy and well constructed songs, an immediate sense of urgency which went through just enough refinement. In other words, a great punk album. Thibaut Devigne
