Trapped inside, there's no way out,
We stare down the barrel,
Demands are made, we're getting played,
There's just one outcome,
We try to fight, to do what's right,
We're overpowered,
When help arrives, we analyse,
No way in,
Is this what you have become?
Helping those who did us wrong,
Changing sides, believing lies,
Refuse to be rescued,
You close your eyes, they're in disguise,
You're still trapped,
Are you refusing help?
You're not only punishing yourself,
Are you on their side now?
Another nail gets hammered in,
It's not what we deserve,
You're still a victim you know?
Is this your final choice?
Is this how you wanna use you your voice?
They're not, for you, or me
This wasn't meant to be,
We're supposed to be free,
We're not meant to be caged,
We're meant to be enraged,
Time is now running out,
And we're still locked inside this room,
Help is on the other side,
Call out, call out for me,
Silence is deafening,
Our pleas are falling on deaf ears,
You've become one of them,
The creator of your demise,
What have you done?
What have you done?
What have you done?
What, what, what have you done?
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024

At first this will probably sound like pretty raw punk music. However, a careful listener will notice that it is not as chaotic as it might first seem, that the melodies and lyrics intertwine quite smartly, that there is much more than meet the ear at first hear. Those who will continue will discover a very good balance between raw ebnergy and well constructed songs, an immediate sense of urgency which went through just enough refinement. In other words, a great punk album. Thibaut Devigne
